It’s not worth it. No matter how much we hate sweating, it will happen. When we exercise or the temperature is up, the first drops of sweat start to appear.
What most people don’t know is that the liquid produced by the sweat glands is 99% water.
You may be thinking, “Then why do we smell bad when we sweat?”
The bad odor is caused by the the decomposition of our sweat by the bacteria that live on our skin. In order to prevent this, we normally turn towards antiseptic soaps and antiperspirants. Although they may seem harmless, these products can have some consequences.
Antiperspirants generally contain aluminum because it’s able to keep the sweat from coming out of our bodies. This block can cause the pores under your arms to become inflamed. Furthermore, most studies start by saying that the aluminum build up can cause long term health problems, since it can not be eliminated from the body once it has been absorbed.
